Hours: 

• Full-Time & Part-Time

• 8-hour shift, 10-hour shift, 12-hour shift, Weekend Availability, Monday to Friday, Some Holidays, Day Shift, Night Shift, Over Time.
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ideally seeking proven experience in polished concrete flooring and concrete polishing equipment, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. 

• Preferred- Strong leadership skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and client interactions.

• A commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in the field of concrete.

• Flexibility to work between different work sites with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to plan for days and weeks ahead to keep projects moving smoothly. 

• A passion for the craft of concrete and a drive to continuously learn and improve.

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, kneel, or be in awkward positions for extended periods.

• Ability to lift/move items over 50-75 lbs throughout the day.

• Strong attention to detail with commitment to craftsmanship and quality

Job Description:

As the Polished Concrete Floor Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our Concrete Flooring Division. Your efforts will be instrumental in transforming raw floor surfaces into durable statement pieces!  This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, physical dexterity, ability to solve problems quickly and a keen eye for aesthetics.  Your efforts will not only reflect the quality that Hâpax stands for but also our care for the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the day-to-day operations of the polished concrete flooring team.

• Operates specialized equipment for concrete polishing, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for projects and in good working order. 

• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are completed efficiently and exceed client expectations.

• Uphold Hâpax's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate and contribute to the team’s knowledge and skill set through sharing experiences and techniques.

Work Schedule Flexibility:

• Project-Based Travel: Occasionally, our projects may require around 12 days of out-of-town work throughout the year. This allows our team to engage in diverse projects and bring our unique expertise to a wider audience.

• Weekend Engagement: There might be around a dozen Saturdays throughout the year where weekend work is needed.  

• Off-Peak Hours: Certain projects may necessitate work outside the typical 8-to-5 to minimize disruption and adhere to client schedules. These instances are infrequent and communicated in advance as much as possible.
